This prestigious event, orchestrated by Retro Kolkata Magazine, is scheduled to occur at Nazrul Tirtha, Newtown, Kolkata, from January 13 to January 21, 2024. The art exhibition will take place from January 13 to January 15, followed by a photography exhibition from January 18 to January 20, culminating in a felicitation ceremony on January 21.
Currently based in Prague, Czech Republic, Bozhena Fuchs is an award-winning artist renowned for her vibrant sea and cityscape paintings. Her deep connection to these subjects stems from her birthplace, Kherson, a significant port city on the Black Sea and the Dnieper River, famous for its ship-building industry.
Fuchs finds her muse in the stunning beauty of unspoiled nature and the formidable strength of human civilization. Her art is characterized by bold brushstrokes, fluid movements, and a masterful interplay of light, shadow, and color, capturing moments that pulse with life and energy. Bozhena Fuchs holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from Uzhhorod National University, obtained in 2006.
