‘Dupurer Neel’ bringing a new soulful sound to fans with the release of their long awaited Single track ‘Gelem Gelem – Na Pherar Gaan’ under Music Label UD Series. The Track is a follow up to their previous Single Bhabnar Train and is set to be released on 19th June, 2022 across Digital platform alongside with an event at Wind of Change –Resto Café, 400, Prince Anwar Shah Road, Kolkata-700045. The Single will be released by the eminent names of Bengal Music Industry Shri Upal Sengupta and Shri Gaurab Chatterjee.
Along with the Audio & Music Video release, the day also marks the exclusive Live Performance by Anny Ahmed, Sudipto Paul, Abhijit Kundu and Abhisek Chakraborty, also Satadru Roy is going to perform live on that day along with the performance Poetry by Santanu Roy.
The band was originally created as a musical project in 2014 by Poet & Composer Santanu Roy. The album Dupurer Neel won the Mirchi music Award as the Album of the Year-Band. Presently it is a platform for music & poetry featuring various artists of different genres. This single is the 2nd song of the Dupurer Neel- Ether Torongo series.
This song is a trans creation of a European song which was created against the backdrop of World War II and the Holocaust.
